Working for HubSpot
I’m currently helping an excellent start-up that comes from Boston called HubSpot set up their HR and recruitment operations in Ireland. As well as showing their executive team some of my favourite pubs in Dublin which has been fun. As you do I’ve brought them to the smallest pub in Dublin, the longest, the biggest (in terms of capacity) and the oldest! I’ll buy a pint for anyone who can think of them all!!!
While there I’ve been helping them benchmark their benefits against other IT companies in the market as well as working with them and the IDA to understand how they can leverage the digital media market in Ireland to promote their brand. For those of you who have never heard of “inbound marketing” which is a term they coined you should check it out. There is also an excellent book called Inbound Marketing, which I think is a really good read and for me has helped me with my thinking of the future of marketing software and how it will be more about generating interesting content that attract leads rather then developing strategies like cold calling or advertising in the press which can be effective in their own way but totally different.
Anyhow, here is a few videos that tells you what they’re all about:
The company has announced 150 jobs over the next 3 years. They’re looking for sales, services and social media trainers. You can learn more about their open roles here.
